She's not appeared on Australian TV for more than 10 years. But Kylie Minogue has certainly been making up for lost time on her current trip to her motherland.

A few days after appearing on popular variety TV show Hey Hey It's Saturday, today she was a special guest on Australia's version of Dancing With The Stars - as her family watched proudly from the audience.

Kylie, 42, performed her single All The Lovers, taken from her new album Aphrodite, on the show, which is filmed in her home town of Melbourne.

And while younger sister Dannii Minogue, 38, stayed at home to look after her newborn son Ethan, her parents Ron and Carol came with her to watch the show.

They were accompanied by Dannii's partner, English former rugby player Kris Smith, 32, who had been given a break from parenting duites.

Kylie is very rarely seen with her parents, not since they stuck by her side when she fought breast cancer five years ago. But she has been staying with them on her trip Down Under, so it was only natural that they wanted to see their little girl perform to her home crowd.

And Kylie teased them about staying out of the spotlight when she told hosts Sonia Kruger - ore a dress from Dannii s new clothing label, Project D - and Daniel McPherson: 'here are my lovely parents but they're a bit camera shy.'
