It's going to be a very special two-hour birthday party
Tony Bennett's got quite the 90th birthday celebration lined up - a TV special airing on NBC and featuring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.
The two-hour show will be broadcast in December, with stars queuing up to honour the singer who celebrates his milestone birthday today (August 3).
Bennett said: "I turn 90 today and feel like I'm just getting started and look forward to each day. I have loved performing for the public and sharing the music I love with the world.
"It's a thrill to have NBC air a special in honor of my birthday and to have so many wonderful artists that I have worked with and admire participate."
Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin are all set to appear, along with Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Billy Joel and Elton John.
NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said: "Since we celebrated Tony's 80th birthday on NBC, it only seemed fitting that we should also stop and pay tribute to his 90th, a true milestone for the greatest living vocalist of popular music.
"Happy birthday, Tony, your achievements are epic and your voice has been the soundtrack of four generations. We and the entire music business are in awe."
There will be a vast choice of Bennett songs for contributors to choose from - the singer has recorded 57 studio albums, 11 live albums and 31 compilation albums, and he's released 81 singles.
He also holds the industry record of being the oldest artist, at the age of 88, to have a Number 1 album on the Billboard Top 200.
